River Curtis

River Curtis, a seasoned competitor with a passion for precision shooting, developed his love for the sport while growing up in Idaho. Working at a local shooting range during high school, he gained valuable experience and mentorship. In the summer of 2020, River discovered his affinity for long-range precision rifle shooting in his first Gas Gun category match in the Precision Rifle Series. Over the next four seasons, he immersed himself in the sport, participating in over 40 competitive events, each fueling his passion further.

Through his dedication and perseverance, River has achieved notable success in precision rifle shooting. In the 2023 National Precision Rifle Series Season, he secured 3rd place overall nationally in the Gas Gun category. Additionally, for the second consecutive year, River claimed 1st place in the Northwest Region, acknowledging the support of his fellow competitors and mentors.

With a deep respect for the sport and a consistent approach to competition, River Curtis strives to embody the values of sportsmanship and camaraderie in the precision shooting community. In July of 2023, he was honored with the sportsmanship award at the Blue Mountain Revival Pro Series Match in Vernal, Utah. He continues to seek opportunities to challenge himself and contribute positively to the world of precision Gas Gun shooting.
