Varick Beise

Varick arrived at his first local 3-Gun match in May of 2018 after receiving a 3-Gun belt, holster and some gear for his 12th birthday. With the help of his family, some great local shooters and classes offered by the MN 3-Gun group he discovered his love for the sport and the skills he needed to improve. In 2019, he shot his first major match the Nordic Vortex Tri-Gun, excited to be on a great squad that provided him the opportunity to compete at the next level.

He now regularly competes in 3-Gun competitions across the country having won Top Amateur in the 2020 Microtech Pro-Am, Top Junior at the 2021 Generation 3 Gun Championship and Top Junior at the 4th Annual Memorial 3-Gun Championship finishing 5th place overall in the Tac Ops division. Varick also enjoys competing in local tactical shotgun matches and Tactical Games Skirmish events. Along with 3-Gun, he is broadening his shooting pursuits to include the Tactical Games, team sniper challenge as well as some PRS and other training opportunities with the goal to learn and improve his skills.

Varick is a Junior Ambassador for the Memorial 3 Gun Foundation, whose mission is to remember, honor, and memorialize fallen Special Operations soldiers through the world of competitive shooting.

When not on the range with his family and friends he enjoys hunting, fishing, trapping, 4-H shooting sports, and high school trap. He is also active in his church youth group.

Career Highlights:

Some of Varick's accomplishments in the last two years include 23 podium finishes at national-level matches across the country and two high finishes at the 2023 IPSC World Shotgun Championship in Thailand: Junior Gold and 5th Men's Open.
