Cory is a shooter, match director and all-around enabler to the addiction we call competitive shooting. He uses shooting to push himself to improve himself and compete daily. He is involved with four local clubs wearing hats as a match director, social media coordinator and RO/Stage Designer.
In 2014 Cory started shooting USPSA when he had to borrow a pistol from a friend to shoot his first match. Over the years, he has always remembered that the help of a friend got him into the shooting sports. At every match, Cory brings extra guns and ammo just in case someone needs that first taste of shooting with the help of a friend. He is now a Grand Master in three USPSA divisions including PCC where he can pursue his true passion: rifles.
In 2017, Cory borrowed an optic and shot his first PRS match and is now seemingly obsessed with the precision rifle game. He can regularly be found at the range with his LRP-07 match rifle, JP-15 trainer and training partners from the TX Precision club. As precision rifle competitions expand Cory has set lofty personal and recruitment goals.
