Garrett Boop

Growing up on a farm in central Pennsylvania, Garrett was very familiar with shooting and marksmanship. He starting hunting at a young age with his father, brothers, uncles and grandfather. The love of hunting and shooting carried over to adulthood when he first discovered 3-Gun in 2014. His passion for marksmanship slammed into the action shooting sports that year when he was looking for a local range to sight in his deer rifle. At the new member orientation, the Club President mentioned an introduction to 3-Gun class. Garrett joined the club and the class. After the first day of the 3-Gun class, he signed up for his first major 3-Gun match, scheduled for the next month.

Since then, Garrett has competed all over the east coast and out as far west as New Mexico for the JP Enterprises Rocky Mountain 3-Gun. He has competed in over twenty-five 3 Gun matches a year.

Garrett now helps to run 3-Gun matches at the York IWLA and teaches Introduction to 3 Gun Classes at the Keystone Shooting Center near Pittsburgh, PA.
